In pieces.......

After all the computer chaos and headaches this last 2 weeks I decided to step away and focus on something else. I snatched up the bag of extra fabric pieces I received from Sandi last week and started playing. I can't remember the last time I just created something with fabric for fun and for no reason at all. It was the exact type of "therapy" I needed that day. 

In 30 short minutes I took this bag and created this small pieced "quilt".

Never having done any type of "piecing" or quilting this way I was very impressed with myself. *snicker* I think I have a bit of the quilting bug now. I simply adore how it has turned out so far. The big challenge now will be finishing it - LOL! It's small, so I'm thinking it will be just perfect as a bassinet/cradle blanket for my sister's baby coming later this year. :)
