Apple Is the Most Valuable Company in the World

Remember when Apple was the little guy? The underdog, working hard to make it to the top? Well, Apple's great hardware and software has finally pushed the company to the #1 spot... in the world. 

At the end of trading today, Apple was valued at 337.2 billion dollars. Exxon, which was previously the most valuable company, came in at 330.8 billion. Apple went from a little company founded by two guys named Steve in a garage. That was in 1976. 35 years later, that small startup in a Californian garage has become the most valuable company in the world. If you wanted an image of the "American Dream", there it is.
