Secret Panorama Mode in iOS 5

The built in camera app in iOS 5 is great. But did you know that Apple has been working on a built in panorama feature? It's not ready yet, but the feature is still hidden within iOS 5.
To enable the panorama feature in the camera app, you can do one of two things. If you're a developer, you can easily do this without jail breaking, otherwise, you'll need to jailbreak.

First, you could edit the plist file yourself. It's located at
/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist
Once you've accessed the file, add EnableFirebreak=Yes to the end of it.

Only developers and people who have jailbroken their iOS devices can play around in the file system. If you have jailbroken your iPhone, but you don't want to go into the filesystem, you can go with the second route. Download an app from Cydia called Firebreak.

You'll have to be a developer or jailbreak to get this feature in the native camera app. If you aren't a developer, and you don't feel like jail breaking, you'll have to wait for Apple to update the OS to include it for everyone. Alternatively, you could download a panorama app from the app store, such as AutoStitch or 360 Panorama. Personally, I prefer AutoStitch for highly detailed panoramas, and 360 Panorama for taking quick panorama shots.
