Apple Buying Flash Maker Anobit

Apple has reportedly purchased Israeli flash chip manufacturer Anobit for $500 million. The flash chip manufacturer already supplies flash memory chips for a number of Apple products. Not only are they able to produce cheap flash memory, but it's also on the cutting edge. The chips use the latest technology, to decrease costs and improve reliability. Now that the company is owned by Apple, Apple will see a competitive edge, being able to offer products with more storage space, and better reliability than their competitors.
