Hidden Voice Control in iOS 5

It's been rumored that iOS would have voice control features. Up until now, this was nothing but speculation, based on Apple's purchase of Siri. However, this interface was found in the latest iOS 5 beta, clearly showing that iOS 5 will have voice recognition in the final release. If you'll remember, Siri has an iOS app that allows users to use plain English voice commands like "find me a taxi". Apple is rumored to add these features to iOS. This screen shot shows that the feature will, at the very least, be used for text input.

Apple has been exploring plain English commands with iCal in Lion. You can input something like "Dinner at 6" to create an event for 6PM, entitled "Dinner". Apple could be looking to bring these features to iOS 5. If not, we can be sure that Apple is at least testing voice to text input in iOS 5.
