Why Older iOS Devices Won't Get Siri

Apple previously confirmed that they had no plans for releasing Siri for older iOS devices, but they didn't state a reason. It was thought that their reasoning revolved around increasing interest in the iPhone 4S, but it turns out, there's another reason.
