Tired of waiting for a Spotify invite? Good news, you don't have to wait any longer. Now you can sign up for Spotify on your own. With it, you'll also get 6 months of the full service for free. After those 6 months, you can still listen to music, but you'll have the occasional ad in between your music.

Spotify Launched Today

Spotify launched today in the US. If you'd like, you can sign up for one of the paid accounts, or sign up to be placed on a list for the free version. Unfortunately, Spotify isn't allowing people to sign up for free accounts on their own, instead, they're sending invites to people who showed interest prior to the release (by putting their email in Spotify's list).

Didn't get your invite yet? Don't feel bad, many people haven't (including myself). Spotify will eventually get to everyone, but it seems they're trying to stagger the release. Perhaps they thought that the server traffic would be too high on the first day if they allowed everyone to sign up at once.

Spotify Launches Tomorrow, Sign up NOW

Spotify launches tomorrow, but if you want to get in on the music streaming service, you'll have to sign up now. Otherwise, you'll have to get an invite from a current member (much like the Google+ beta). However, if you sign up here now, you can gain access to the service when it launches tomorrow. Spotify is free, and add supported (much like Pandora). There are paid versions that remove ads available as well.

Spotify, and possibly Mac OS Lion and Mac updates. Tomorrow could be a busy day in the tech world.

Spotify Is Coming to the US

Music lovers outside of the US have enjoyed Spotify for some time now. However, the music streaming service has been denied to US users for quite some time.

Spotify gives users access to a gigantic library of music, with free and paid services. You can simply search for a song, and play it. The free version has advertisements, much like Pandora.

Spotify has apps for iOS and Android, as well as Mac OS and Windows. Europeans have teased US music fans by touting it as the best streaming service available. Spotify announced that their service is finally coming to the US, but they didn't say when. You can sign up to be considered for the beta here (all you need to do is enter your email).
