TUNISIA, AFRICA: Following on from the 2011 launch of National Electronics Week North Africa, the event will again join for its second edition "Tunis-Medindustrie" organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tunis. This event shows the best of Industrial Partnership and Innovation and National Electronics Week will support this with an International gathering of electronics companies from design to manufacture.
The National Electronics Week event has a specific area within “Kram” (the venue for MedIndustrie and NEW NA) which is branded and located at a prime front of house location, offering the most cost effective stand packages and opportunities for companies to target this exciting and growing market. Stand pricing for international exhibitors is only 120 Euro per metre including shells scheme, and for UK companies there is UKTI funding available which offers full stand packages for less than £100 total.
This event expects to deliver around 10 000 visitors, 350 exhibitors at the Parc des expositions du Kram in Tunis, the main exhibition venue for the city.
Rob Saunders, director of New Events, said: "North Africa is an exciting region and one that is prospering from growth. Our collaboration with Medindustrie offers a strong platform for key companies and professionals to find out more about international developments and products. As well as local visitors we expect to see internationals keen to get involved with this sector.
"We are pleased to be supporting Medindustrie for a second year, but additionally our partners Fortronic are hosting an exclusive meet the buyer event in a venue nearby where we will offer our customers the opportunity to get involved and for which we will be organising a free shuttle service between locations. Additionally, the Tunisian Investment Forum, which is a meeting and networking event for industry professionals across various sectors to discuss the opportunities and growth technologies within Tunisia, will also run alongside this and is supported by another of our partners FIPA."
The Tunisian Investment Forum is a key international economic meeting organized by FIPA Tunisia and expects to get an additional 1,500 attendees (from Tunisia and others countries), with a strong presence of political and economic decision makers.
