My Photo(S) Friday.....celebrate!

I celebrated my birthday this week and instead of the day passing quietly this year I decided to throw a party! and I almost decided to late! About a day and a half before when I would want the party to start I decided to throw one! That meant putting a lot of fabulous things together in a short amount of time. :)..... totally fun. 

An invite was drafted up and dropped off or emailed out (it was too late to mail them!) A party with my sisters, cousins, girlfriends and all their kids for an afternoon of cupcakes, gabbin', and everyone sporting an Apron! yes a threw myself an APRON birthday party! 

Tissue paper garland, balloons and some of favorite sweet things to eat set the atmosphere.....

remember this post about my "stylishly outdated" patterns? They doubled as a tablecloth and also were incorporated into the garland.....lovely right?(can you hear the smile in my voice?)  I loved it. very me...... 

and of course I needed a FABULOUS new apron for ME to wear to the party! I came up with this little number. It had a party dress feel which was perrrrrfect! :) (can you hear the smile again? totally smitten with this design)

There were a lot of cute aprons there! Thanks to everyone who sported their favorite! Just have to share my cousin and her darling daughter. Her daughter was the muse that inspired the Maddie Bee pattern. They are hoping to adopt. Please pop over to her blog and take a peek at what a wonderful family they are.

After a sugar rush and my cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing all afternoon everyone went home with either one of my apron patterns or a set of fabric flowers. (you wish you could have come right? next year?.....)
