Have you met Nie Nie.......

There is nothing I can say that would do justice or convey the awe I have for this woman and her husband. Having said that, I will keep it brief. :)

If you haven't had a chance to "meet" her yet or hear of her story take a look into her blog AND catch Oprah on Wednesday. My twitter "sources" and my Mom (HI MOM!) say that she will be on there.

Her story is inspiring and heart wrenching and she lets the world into her life, emotions and thoughts everyday. There is much to be learned from her.......

*edited* - Just discovered a feature done on "Nie Nie" over at the Mom It forward site. It's a good read!

Sharing the BIG picture......

I recently "met" Forever Folding Laundry on Twitter. Instantly related to her blog, sense of humor and more. I have enjoyed tweeting with her and she even shared a little blog "secret" with me. Her blog is FULL of large images and I asked her if she wouldn't mind sharing or directly me to how I would be able to do that on my blog too. She was more than helpful and willing to share. :) She has posted a tutorial to explain and show how to do it! Isn't that GREAT!?

You can post photos on your blog that can go from this: (normal upload)

to THIS fabulous, large eye candy image! :)

Feeling happy....

We have had a wonderful week of beautiful warm weather here - FINALLY! I even got some sun and "color" on my winter skin. :) It's amazing what a little sunshine and warmth can do for someone's attitude and outlook.

I revamped my blog playlist to be a shuffled mix of what I like to call "Happy Sunshine-y" summer songs. It makes me feel happy. :) If you have a suggestion of a happy song you like - let me know! Leave me a comment. I would love to add more songs to the playlist.

Spring and Summer always bring out the COLORS too don't they? Not only do the flowers and trees start bursting with colors but fashion/wardrobe seem to follow as well. I've been combining some really fun colorful patterns and sewing up aprons this last week. More to come to my shop next week!

Here's a picture of one I sent off to a lucky blogger for winning a giveaway! See? Happy, bright and colorful! Love it!

Are you tweeting on twitter? Twitter has been all over TV this past week! Oprah and The View both featured it. I love it! If you are on Twitter - let's Tweet! I am over there!

Just a few things this week that have made me feel happy! Hope your week-end if full of "happy" too!
