Ashley of The SHINE Project encompasses all of the above. 

She started The Shine Project with the intentions of motivating people to go for their dreams, while helping others along the way. She has chosen the word SHINE as the theme for 2011, and it has taken off.

  I wanted to spread the word about her project because just like Ashley, I love motivating others and inspiring others. We all need a little help along the way no matter what our goals are. 

So what is the SHINE project all about?

In Ashley's own words:
"Going out of your comfort zone
to bring light to those who need hope.
The Shine Project emulates love, sacrifice, and
CHANGE.

Not only does it involve helping others,
but feeling good about ourselves so that we can Shine too!
From creating, to dressing in a way that brings out your personality,
The Shine Project
allows us to do little things in our own lives
to make us feel GOOD!" - Ashley

Intrigued? I am. I can't help but smile when I read about the purpose of her project and see all her "shiny" photos. Ashley does SHINE and she wants her light and happiness to rub off on others.
