Could a White iPod Touch be in the Works?

Another white rumor? You bet. Apple has released the iPhone in black and white, the iPad 2 in black and white, so why not the iPod Touch? The production difficulties behind designing a white glass face without light leakage was solved with the white iPhone, so there shouldn't be anything keeping Apple from releasing a white iPod.

What really gives fuel to this rumor is this white iPod touch faceplate to the right. Apparently, this is the digitizer (screen/face combo) for the next iPod Touch. 

Apple will be introducing new iOS hardware this fall, including the iPod touch. It only makes sense that Apple would release a white iPod, so look for it this fall.
