New MacBook Airs are FAST

LaptopMag did some benchmarking on the new MacBook Airs, and what they found is surprising. The new MacBook Air provides a huge speed boost after the last generation, and even bests last year's MacBook Pro i7. Now, this doesn't test graphical power, but when it comes down to memory and cpu speed, the new 1.7GHz i5 MacBook Air can outperform an older MacBook Pro. Of course, there's a lot more to computing speed than just processing power, but this proves that the new MacBook Air is hiding quite a bit of power within that thin case.
