The New iPad is Here

First off, yes, the third generation iPad will be called just "iPad". On Apple's site, they introduce it as "the new iPad". Perhaps this is to make referring to it easier. After-all, we don't refer to an iMac as the "iMac 5". Fortunately, when preordering a 3rd generation iPad, Apple makes sure to note that you are buying the newest iPad, rather than the iPad 2. The iPad 2? It's still available, and now it's $100 off.

So what's new? Is this the exciting update we've been waiting for? Apple Store downtime lead by the huge number of orders says "yes".
