My Top 5 Super Bowl Ads

Diposting oleh fawaid on Selasa, 23 Februari 2010

Google

Google

Google really transformed how we think about search system and now Google has truly transformed how we think about Super Bowl adverts. Without any famous celebrities, unusual effects or other jokes, Google did what Google does best. It showed to all world how Google had changed the world. The advert is unlikely to win any creativity awards but unlike usual adverts I think it made a real powerful impact in the mind on consumers.

Budweiser

Budweiser

In general, I was underwhelmed with Anheuser-Busch’s advert this year. Frequently Budweiser dominates the game and very easily delivers among the really best in the bowl. While Budweiser did not have its best year, but absolutely average for Budweiser is still real good.
They formally own the Super Bowl and Budweiser are still the great King of Beers. As usual, the very best advert used the Clydesdales, the iconic symbol of the Trade Mark. But the ad itself was not as nice as the Clydesdale adverts of past years. If they would stop line-extended Bud Light, then maybe they would have considerably more time to work on the adverts.

Doritos

Doritos

Who really needs a fancy award-winning agency when you can hold a contest and get your unique adverts for free? For a cool, spicy, fun, youth-oriented TM the great strategy paid off truly big time. The charming dog with the bark collar was hilarious and had a real TM payoff at the end.

Snickers

Snickers

When you brand owns a magnificent, clear and excellent idea in the mind, it is a whole lot easier to make a famous commercial adv. Snickers, the №1 candy bar, is focused on adults (or positioning as adults). Having a unusual Betty White turn into a young man playing football was not only visually impressionable, but also packed a mean branding adv punch too.

Denny’s

Dennys

The free-breakfast idea got average people truly excited last year. So Denny’s repeated the usual giveaway. And people most likely got even really excited about the free breakfast this year. But on high top of breakfast Denny’s delivered some of the especially top adverts of the game. Again when you have a non-standard idea, it is a lot easier to get great creative work. “It’s a good time to be an American, but a really bad time to be a chicken.” Who can forget this slogan?

If Microsoft will make iPhone

Diposting oleh fawaid on Senin, 05 Oktober 2009

Parody preview trailer from UCB Comedy.
In 2007 on the Internet there was a preview trailer "If Microsoft makes iPod" which derided inability of this company to reach the simple and easy decision as it have made Apple. The device overloaded with unnecessary and senseless functions, unlike iPod has as a result turned out.

The new trailer also derides Bill Gates's company, but this time it is a question of that, the smart phone like iPhone as though looked. The monster under the name "Fune", generated by imagination of parodists, without special work can cause a nervous tic.

Delight to fans Apple

Judge: the huge device similar to a brick working under Windows Vista, with possibility of listening of favourite tracks in format MIDI and an exit in the Internet through AOL, working as a fax, and also having AM-radio and even a roulette! You will tell nothing, fans Apple have laughed with all the heart.

Apple strikes back

It is curious, that name Fune is transparent enough hints at player Zune of manufacture Micrisoft. Probably, this attack is the answer to an advertising campaign from Crispin Porter + Bogusky in which expenses of users iPode and Zune were compared.

Transformation of apple silhouettes

Diposting oleh fawaid

Apple, Ipod

In 2003 Apple has started campaign "Silhouettes" for iPod which became one of the brightest campaigns of the beginning of the XX-th century.
On a monophonic bright background "black people" in white ear-phones and with white players in hands danced. They have helped Apple to adjust communications in many countries of the world, in view of the universality — they should not be adapted locally. In each country rollers with silhouettes of dancing people went in that kind in which they have been made in States in agency TBWA\Chiat\Day.

After three years, in 2006, campaign has on the sly started to vary — the background has ceased to be monophonic, silhouettes black, and messages — simple.
The roller with Paul McCartney, left in the summer of 2007 was last roller which though somehow reminded "Silhouettes". In a videoclip already and speeches did not go making the hero of a roller black.

After the sir of the Floor and an exit iPhone all communications iPhone and iPod have been unified and represent product demonstration.

Your opinion — whether there was a change of communication idea necessary as old the mood and a visual number have a little become obsolete, or in Apple have hurried?

Apple has grown fond of double banners

Diposting oleh fawaid

For the last couple of days in a network there were two appreciable campaigns Apple which is under construction on use at once of two banners on one page.

Top horizontal and right vertical banners are connected among themselves by actions or images.
One of such campaigns is a part well-known Get A Mac. John Hodzhman (PC) and Dzhastin Long (Mac) for the first time have decided to discuss a difference among themselves not in a roller, and on a banner. A discussion theme — simplicity of work. PC furnishes as the proof of the simplicity a new slogan: "it is simple, as 1-23". That all has earned, it is necessary to execute in certain sequence 23 points, among which 4 restarts and one final crossing of fingers.
Separately it is necessary to note realisation — interaction of heroes of campaign with the site interface.
The banner is placed on large sites, such as CNN, Yahoo! NYTimes, News, Wired.

The second campaign is devoted online shop of appendices App Store. Later 9 months after opening, Apple with pride declare billion loadings with App Store and thanks users for attention. Two banners in this case are connected by means of flying "icons" of the appendices "loaded" in iPhone.
The campaign slogan beats usual English expression "Thanks A Million". Apple expresses to the users whole "billion thanks".

The banner is placed on sites The Wall Street Journal, CNET and The New York Times.
