Besides designing, crafting and sewing I am a Mom too. Every once in a while I will post about my family or a project for kids, etc. It's part of my life and I love that part.
A friend once told me "You only get 18 Summers with your kids before they are gone." (insert a huge GASP from me!) That hit me like a ton of bricks! 18 seemed so sort and Summers usually fly by. My mind started racing. Have our Summers been memorable enough? Was I making the most of the Summers I had with my kids? And I probably don't actually get 18 Summers because kids start Summer School, work, drivers Ed, etc.
(calming down) SO - I started really embracing my Summers. Embracing the kids being around all day. Enjoying no schedules, no homework, freedom, warm sun, etc. I tried to start Summer traditions, plan events for them to look forward to, create some "magic" in just the average every day.

And even in all these days there are the ones where I want to pull my hair out :) It's always good to have a "file box" or resource of ideas in our back pocket so I decided this year to ask other bloggers if they wanted to share an idea or two. Hence the S.O.S series was born!
All month long bloggers will be sharing a new idea they have come up with or an old favorite that works everytime. Snag a button, spread the word and enjoy! (First post will be up TOMORROW!)
