Apple has heard their customer's complaints. Despite the fact that the App Store has a "no refund" policy, Apple has began issuing refunds to people who are dissatisfied with Final Cut Pro X. This is a one time deal, according to Apple. Want a refund yourself? Try complaining to Apple, you may just get one.
Are you one of those unhappy professionals? You can leave the pitchforks and torches at home, Apple is working on adding the features users have requested. In fact, the latest version of the video editing software may be already capable of performing one of the most requested features.
Final Cut Pro X may be capable of importing projects from older versions of Final Cut Pro. Evidence in system files for the application reveal the option to import a Final Cut Pro project. However, it seems Apple decided not to include it at the time of launch, for one reason or another. Apple may enable this feature in the near future. It may have been excluded from the application at the time of launch because it wasn't ready yet. It shouldn't take Apple too long to implement the features users have requested.
Final Cut Pro X has a lot of potential, that much is obvious. But perhaps Apple should have waited to release the application, as it's clearly lacking a number of the features that professionals need.
