iPhone in October, iPad 3 in 2012

Two rumors about the launch of iOS devices came out today. The first comes from AT&T employees claiming they had word directly from a Vice President at AT&T that the iPhone would be out in early October. Jim Dalrymple of The Loop, apparently has a few sources within Apple. He's affirmed this rumor.

Next up, from the NY Times, is the rumor that the iPad 3 will be coming in early 2012, complete with a retina display. The new iPad would apparently have a 2048 by 1536 resolution screen. That's double the resolution of the current iPad, with a 1024 by 768 resolution. Expect in in early 2012, just like the iPad 2.
