Steve Jobs Had Google's Logo Changed

Back in 2007, Apple was preparing the first iPhone. Now, it wasn't long ago, but if your memory needs a refresher, the first iPhone did not have an App Store. Apple released that a year later. However, before the App Store, Apple was showing off web apps. Many iPhone owners don't even know about this, but in Safari, you can tap the arrow-like icon in the middle, and choose "Add to Home Screen" to create a bookmark for the page on the home screen. For web apps, this means the web app will behave just like a normal app.

Back to the story, Apple was looking to show off it's web app bookmarking feature using Google.  One day, Vic Gundotra, an employee at Google, got a call from Steve Jobs. He couldn't answer it right away, but did later. Here's his summary of the conversation:
