Pendant Necklace - tutorial

Tick tock....tick tock....did you know you can make a necklace from a clock?
ha ha! Well I did. And as the host Brooke, from the TV show Studio 5 said, I am "ticking".

This tutorial goes to show that you can create MANY things from unepxected items! Maybe you will see some items differently now and this may spark some creativity of your own!

Supplies:
Pendant from a clock
fabric
scissors
fabric marker or pencil
Diamond Glaze
Bail
E6000 - craft glue
Chain

step 1:Take your Pendant and pull out the parts so just the round part is left. Place it face down on the wrong side of the fabric. Trace and cut.

Step 2:  Apply Mod Podge to the pendant and place the fabric on top. Apply a layer over the fabric as well. Smooth out all the air bubbles and make sure all the edges are sealed down.

Step 3: Apply a generous layer of Diamond Glaze over the fabric. Let dry. If needed, apply another layer. This will create a "glass like" effect over the top.

Step 4: Attach your Bail with E6000 glue to the back. Let dry and thread a chain through to wear!

I will be linking up HERE throughout the week!
