Adobe Unveils Flash 11 and Air 3

Adobe announced today that they'd be releasing Flash 11 and Air 3 this October. Betas of the software are available now.
Adobe claims the updates allow for "console quality" (debatable) gaming on the web. The improvements should increase performance across the board, and new Air apps for iOS will run better than ever as well. The software will bring better video, 2D, 3D, and better graphics, using the computers graphics card.

Flash still won't run natively on iOS, but with previous announcements, as well as the advancements to Air, Adobe products will work better than ever with iOS. Plus, Adobe developers can use Flex to make iOS games with the same tools they use to make Flash apps. With any luck, this could be the best version of Flash yet. Although, that's not really saying too much, is it?
