HP's Inexpensive 3D Scanner

For the longest time, 3D scanners weren't too practical. But HP is looking to change that. Their soon-to-be-released 3D scanner, the TopShot Laserjet Pro M275, would not only be able to scan 3D images, but it's also a fully functional all-in-one printer. It takes 6 shots of a 3D object, and can use it to generate a single 3D image, or 6 separate images, perfect for ebay auctions. It even has AirPrint, so you can print wirelessly from your iOS devices. And the price? $400, a lot less than other 3D scanners. Yes, it's finally here, a 3D scanner for the everyday person.
